Using UVI serial numbers

Follow these steps to use UVI serial numbers you have reedemed. ## Install and connect UVI Portal 1. Download and install UVI Portal. Get UVI Portal 2. Open UVI Portal and log in to your **UVI account**. If you don't have a UVI account, create one. ## Register your UVI product 1. In UVI Portal click **Redeem Serial**. 2. Enter your **serial number** and click **OK**. 3. Enter your **iLok account** (iLok User ID). If you don't have an iLok account, create one. 4. Click **REGISTER**. Your product is now available in *My Products*.   ## Install the product Products like *Digital Synsations* require a soundbank player to be used. From UVI Portal you can download UVI Workstation, UVI's free soundbank player. 1. From *My Products* section in UVI Portal, click **INSTALL** to install UVI Workstation. 2. After the installation is complete, click **INSTALL** again to install the soundbank. ## Activate the license Some UVI may require the to activate the product license on your device. 1. In UVI Portal, click **ACTIVATE** on the right of the product to open iLok License Manager (automatically installed with UVI Workstation, Falcon or UVI Effects). 2. In iLok License Manager, **sign in** to your iLok account, then click the **Available** tab and drag the license to your computer or an iLok dongle. 3. Click **Refresh** in the UVI Portal menu to see that your product does not require any other action.  ## Do you still need help?
